Subject: Swarm Of The Lotus reunite and do a show

I love this band.

Reactived band Swarm Of The Lotus, just weeks away from their first show since reuniting, has announced the addition of original guitarist Bob Brockmeyer to their line-up. Here's a statement from the band:

"In the past few months we have reconnected with an old friend and founding member of the band, Bob Brockmeyer (played on our first record, 'When White Becomes Black') and in our talks, mentioned the possibility of jamming again. We invited him down to a practice and there again was instant chemistry. He has since attended several rehearsals (which have gone great) and as a result, purchased the necessary gear to make this happen! I know we announced originally as a 3-piece but if ever we were going to add a second guitarist to the line-up, what better than another original member! With his inclusion, 3 out of the 4 of us were there in the beginning and we couldn't be more stoked! We wholeheartedly welcome him back and see our future even brighter with him entering the fold once again. Since this has all come about so recently, he will NOT be with us at our first show back, but whatever show we end up on after and so on, will see his triumphant return! Hails to Bob, who accounted for half of the mighty twin towers (other twin brother John played bass), for all you old heads who were there and can remember that far back!"

The aforementioned show will take place on October 23rd at the Ottobar, where they will SOTL will play along with Eyehategod, Goatwhore, Pig Destroyer, Strong Intention, and Triac.
