ABACUS RECORDINGS SIGNS THE GOODWILL!

Hailing from Long Island, NY The Goodwill have found a home with Abacus Recordings! The band's debut full length was released on Negative Progression Records in February 2003 and they quickly made for the road. That summer, The Goodwill spent two and a half weeks on the Warped Tour followed by a U.S Tour with Hidden In Plain View, and short stints with Boys Night Out, Catch 22, Bayside, Allister, and Punchline. The band also has appearances slated for this years annual Skate Fest in Mass and they will perform at CMJ in New York City this year with bands including Scatter The Ashes, The Snake, The Cross, The Crown and Endicott.

They are currently holed up in Atomic Studios with Dean Baltulonis (Brand New, Hazen St and The Bouncing Souls) in New York and are eyeing a early 2005 release date. Immediately after leaving the studio they plan on touring throughout the rest of 2004, well into next year and beyond.

"I've been waiting to sign to a label like Abacus my whole life. I'm super excited to be working with Ray and the Abacus team and I look forward to what the future holds for The Goodwill and Abacus Recordings."

-Josh Moskoviz (Bass)

"In the spirit of Abacus' mission statement of remaining musically diverse, The Goodwill bring an entirely new take on a genre that is becoming so worn out. Their work ethic is unparalleled and above all, they are great people, which is hard to come by in music today. The future looks bright to say the least," says Ray Harkins, A&R for Abacus Recordings.
