"Erase that first quarter, the Pats win the game."

sure let'd do that because that happens all the time in football games..some patriots fans need a building permit for the house of excuses they built for that Oct 31st game..here, here's an sterix for you to put next to it in the record books *

so patriots can win 2 superbowls without dillon but cant beat the steelers without him? wow thats a lot of credit for the steelers

they arent dependant on roethlisberger..hes a rookie for christsakes..every game where HE has had to win the game this year, he has regardless of how "good" or "bad" he looked (jacksonville, NYgiants, Dallas)

plus steeelers do well against dillon..in all the times they have played him he has 1 maybe 2 100 yd games..and dont say "that was with the bengals" cause dillon set a rushing yard mark WITH the bengals

Antowain Smith in the two Super Bowl seasons was better then Kevin Faulk and Cedrick Cobbs put together times 10. That's what we had on October 31st. Besides that, and I've already said this, the two Super Bowl years, the Patriots ran an offense around the short passing game. This year, they run it around Corey Dillon. THAT is the difference.

Now on to how Corey has done against the Steelers. From what I remember, Corey averages 3.8 yards a carry vs. the Steelers over his career. Yes, that was in Cincinatti, so put that on a good Patriots team, and I like my chances. If he can do it with them, I am sure he can do just as much, if not more with us. I will do cartwheels if Corey averages 3.8 yards a carry and gives us 30 carries on Sunday. Do the math.

No, Ben Roethlisberger has not had to go out and win a game by himself. He's had Bettis and/or Staley right there with him time and time again. That makes all the difference in the world. If you want a cookie because he can put together a late drive against the NEW YORK GIANTS and bring them back, then I'll give you a whole bag.

He's a rookie, and he sure as hell looked like one against the Jets, and he hasn't exactly been playing his best football the last six weeks. That's a fact, and Pittsburgh journalists and players will be the first to say it. Peyton Manning looked like a high schooler against the Pats. Now I know it's two different teams and that Peyton Manning usually looks like a high schooler against the Pats, but if the Pats D isn't scaring you right now, you've got some brass balls...

No, I don't think the Steelers deserve a lot of credit for the October 31st game. They won a game that realistically, they should have won. Wow, you're badasses, you won a football game. But to sit there and act like the World Champs, a team that has lost FOUR games in the last two years is some walkover because you beat them while they were down is a little retarded if you ask me. Sorry, Steelers fans are giving them WAY TOO MUCH credit for that game, and Pats fans probably aren't giving them enough.

I can promise you this: if the Pats lose on Sunday, there will be no excuses. The Steelers will be the better team. All I've said all along is you give me every player the Pats have that isn't on the IR, they will beat ANYONE in the NFL. If Richard Seymour doesn't play, I still won't make excuses, because as good as he is, Jarvis Green does a solid job and all Richard does is plug holes and try to get to the QB. We are deep on the DL, and if we can lose any Pro Bowler, it's him.

That said, I reaaaaaaaallllllly can't wait for Sunday.
