well, for a wednsday show the light turnout was expected, for me at least... I've never been down to a show in Fall River so....

Irepress: I actually liked these guys quite a bit. A real old style cave in sound to some of their space guitar riffs. Not sure if Id like them with a singer or not though. It really depends on the style he would do. To be safe, id say just stick to it without one ;)

Our Fate Ends: These guys weren't my cup of tea at all. Their 'homey-G' looking guitar player deliberately played the guitar line to the 8 mile Eminem song. Honestly it fucking annoyed me and I wanted to smash the kids guitar over his head and then play the dueling banjo's through his amp. If I hear another band do that in between songs Im going to leave the room. He also tried doing some 'king kong' thing with his hand during a breakdown and tried getting the rest of the band to do it. They just looked at him like he had down syndrome. One last thing, whenever these guys had a breakdown, no one would dance, but then some young fuck would jump in and dance for like .5 seconds to a part that has nothing to do with dancing. I think these fall river folk need to learn how to dance, and most importantly WHEN to dance.

For Her I Can Be A Hero: Pretty good band, they were tight, and had some good riffs. I liked em. Singer looked a little femme Whats with the bellbottom look? Is this a fuckin 70's Disco Party or a hardcore/metal show? There was a disco ball on the ceiling, perhaps if I turned it on it would suddenly turn into saturday night fever.

The NETWORK: One of the main reasons I came down for this show was to see them. My High school bud Nate former Roomate, and Bandmate is their bass player. I must say I am really impressed by them. He showed me a video tape of them playing at Obriens pub and that was cool, but it was obviously much better to see them live even though their sample guy left to play rap. Musicwise and Performancewise. The guitars weren't very loud, the vocals were only audible when there was no music going. They definetly have the potential and more to be a touring band, as long as they don't get banned from all the venues =)

Saved By Grace: Seemed like a decent band for what they do, not my type of shit though.

Suicide Note: Not too sure what I thought of this band, 4 piece from NY... Everyone pretty much left before these guys started playing. Guitar player seemed tight, drummer had no double bass which is a rarity for the type of music this show hosted.

Good show Scott, look foreward to attending more of your shows.

ps. you should try to book EXTOL who are coming over from europe (soon?) and the closest they are playing is in Atlanta, GA.

Check out the boner I drew with my Camera Light!

Pure motherfucking skill.....
