It's not any kind of recording I'd be happy with, but you've also got to consider the other sub$500 demo packages from local studios. I'd say he's comparable with most, however there are a few I've heard that are far better. It's not so much his recording that would turn people away at first, moreso his cocky attitude and obvious ignorance about the very subject of recording.
