i dunno, i've played at least 5 sold out shows in providence, sometimes with only local bands on the bill. there are plenty of kids here. everytime we've played a "metalcore" show, the turnout and the quality of people was similar to last night.

and why does everyone hate metalcore on this site, is it simply because its been getting popular lately???

lately? it's been the trend for the last 5 years at least, finally it's starting to wane. and it's because it's just that. it's a trend. more about fashion and breakdowns than living this shit. (and by "this shit" i mean music not "the scene")

that being said, respect to sean and anyone else who put the effort in to try and make a good thing happen in providence.
