Yea gay bands like Nirvana... Slayer give me a break. I am all about theory because when I am playing a song. And I know the key.. I can pretty much do what I want and know it is gonna sound good with few exceptions. I am not in a cover band.. I will save that till I am 30.

Everything in music is a pattern... If you say it isn't you do not know what your talking about. And guess what music theory is.. You got it... patterns. And don't give me this bullshit of death metal doesn't follow a pattern. Because it does. For the most part it is. Chromatic, whole tone, diminished, phrygian, and locrian.
And who said that those musicians making millions are less trained.. You have no idea of thier musical background..

Gay bands like Nirvana and Slayer....who have had an enormous impact musically on peoples lives, and influence on their respective musical forms, and not because they were ever trendy. Whereas you have ZERO impact, period, on anyone's life. Slayer is a REALLY gay band, who probably influenced just about everything you listen to (Necrophagist included).

When did you start listening to metal anyway, 2 years ago? I'll bet.

And what fucking band are you in, kid? Seriously, we want to hear your amazing theory at work. Musicians making millions are often very much less trained than faggot fretboard masturbators who died out with Steve Vai.

I think every dumb stump in the universe realizes music is a pattern, so thanks for pointing that out to us...that was mighty informative.

And I think all those musicians out there who are 30 or older and make a lot more important music than you will take REALLY well to your statement, which made no sense, since kids play covers too, and quite often (fuckwad).
