This was a team neale benefit show.

velocity engine: they were ok. Not really my thing s I couldn't really get into them. I rolled in during their set. They seemed to be a straight up emo-pop band like the promise ring.

silent drive: part of bane and dasai. They played wicked good. I can apreciate them even though I don't really care for them. I was very surprised at a few points cause the singer dove into the crowd and freaked out/screamed a bunch. Pretty crazy all around.

a life once lost: YES! I had no clue that these guyswere playing until like 30 minutes before they played. Their new stuff is great, but the singer seems a little lost with nothing to do when the meshuggah-esque jug jug jug goes on for like 5 minutes.

bane: It was pretty low-key. There was a barricade up so that the crowd didn't get to roudy and spill over into the stage. They only played like 1/2 the songs that kids wanted to hear cause they were splitting the sets they are doing. They are playing two different sets on both days there they are playing. It's weird to think that I'm going to see them at about the same exact time on the next day.

converge: the same basic set/songs that they have been doing lately. Though the set wasn't as long as the ICC show so some of the odd tracks that they got into there (locust reign) wasn't played. There is this one track they played at the ICC and middle east and tonight that I dont know the title of. It's the one with the space-rock part in the middle. Anyone?

thursday: I wasnt' really a fan before and I'm not really after that show. They put on a good set, but I can't really get into the music. The audience for them was odd too... it was mostly 14 year old girls screaming cause they wanted thursday. It's a little odd to see all the crowd surfers being ematiated guys and girls in tank-tops or sports bras.
