So aside from blind political allegiance what makes you guys think this administration will not or is not abusing its powers in wiretapping and torturing innocent people?

And as for the supposed liberal media anti-war bia, the media has only recently begun to question the current administration's actions, if you remember the lead-up to the war in Iraq there was very little questions from the media on our reason for going to war. The reason why there are so many "negative" stories is the fact that it is the journalist's responsibility to cover newsworthy events and issues that would otherwise go uncovered.

Yeah it's great that some US soldiers built a school or gave some Iraqi kids candy but it is not news when civilians and soldiers are being blown up, tortured, and beheaded. Covering these negative events isn't liberal media bias, it's simple journalism, and journalists are expected to cover such atrocities regardless of who is in the White House (It sure was great that the liberal media held off on covering those things in Vietnam when LBJ was in power wasn't it? And wasn't it grand when the liberal media ran only puff pieces on how great Clinton was for the entire 8 years under Clinton?) And if you're sick and tired of all these "negative" stories, tough shit. It's your war, you're paying for it. Now take it all in, not just the good parts that make you feel like we're getting revenge or a great country, and remember that it isn't all about sticking an American flag atop a pile of sand niggers.
