The opening bands were terrible. The only one that had no xCOREx in it were Catalyst, who sorely lacked a bass player and were just ok. The singer looked nervous and determined to flail about so as not to appear so at any cost. That said they were a talented band, I blame the no bass player and being rushed for being kinda crappy. Beyond The Embrace- Like Jon said, they were a little sloppy, I think the new drummer was way too rushed and as a result was a little off. Other than that, and them replacing Alex for "90 bucks and a carton of Marlboro Lights", they were great, as usual. They're a fun band to watch and contrary to the opinions of certain people, they're a great fucking band. GREEN CARNATION- One of the best show's I've seen. They were fucking amazing! They were all smiling the whole time, the singer couldn't believe how many people knew all the lyrics. The only thing that could have made them better is if one of them hit that stupid blonde whore in the face with their instruments. I hit her with a roll of duct tape, but she was too drunk to notice. It was so satisfying to watch her pass out on her face and be carried out of the club. Anyway the band was fucking amazing, totally worth the 2 hour drive and suffering through my birl flu to see them. And Ken is the loudest drunk ever.
