too bad they dont have shows at hot topic... said:
man, i love helping promote a show for a friend/euro bands, then, bringing our OWN p.a., setting it up for everyone all night, letting everyone use it, smoking out the touring bands, showing them a good time, actually having a really good time at the show, then...the complaints start....xmikex, kid, how old are you anyway? you seem to be a little lost and ignorant. you got alot of balls talking shit about bands and a show that you had nothing to do with...im sorry our head blew up, and it took us a second to get a new one, but, luckily, if wil from the white mice didn't have a head there in seconds like he did, we probably would have really heard it from you...get a fucking life...have you never been to the redrum before? everyone 'should get their heads out of their asses', fuck you...where else do you go to see a fucking great show, with no hassles, good people and oh yeah, there is usually a keg included with your donation...thats right D O N A T I O N.....so, if you have 3 bucks for a 5 dollar show, you're usually gonna get in, and get your buzz on...oh yeah, your band sounded awesome the other night....ooops, i forgot...you probably dont have one...so, heres a tip: go buy a powerball ticket, hope you win, buy your own mill/show space, start up your own band, then, throw some shows that run a little late, so, that everyone you just shit on can have an opportunity to shit on you, and you can see what its like to put in a lot of hard work and that have little cunts like you voice their stupid, uneducated opinions that dont hold anything. i dont know you, and you dont know us, but, when you start shitting on my friends, and overall good people trying to do shit for our scene, then, i will offer my two cents...you started this shit, kiddo, hope you either shut up, apologize, or just prepare for more 'opinions' from people. you suck. and your attitude stinks. and you especially have no place talking shit about bob otis...'he talks to much'...guess what? HE HAS THE MIC....hahahaha. fool.
ps: sevendust is very gay, they have ROADIES, you know, people you pay to set up /break down your instruments, i guess until our bruce dickinson rock star rambling pays off, we'll just be another opening band in olneyville, and not the metal ambassadors we so wanted to be.
sevendust is so fucking queer....you really fucked yourself mentioning that band, and that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have absolutely no idea what your talking about. see you at the next redrum show!! (if its not too late for you!) xoxoxmike.

i didn't even read the majority of that post. i'm 24. i've been going to shows for almost 10 years now. if you had a clue you'd see that i've commented on I, Destroyer before and had decent things to say. I'm not your mother I don't have to pretend to like everything you do, but I went out of my way to say I liked your band before. So you're welcome asshole.

Your singer talked too much. It's a valid criticism. I don't care if he has a microphone, a megaphone or a cellphone. It was distracting and annoying and it made an otherwise decent set look dumb.

I am in a band. I've been doing bands for years playing all over the place. I know very well that it's easy to get nervous and have a tendency to talk way too much in between songs. It might seem like a decent idea when you're standing there with the mic but to people in the crowd who might not peticularly care it's annoying. Haha, I can name an instance or two from years ago when I talked for too long, or told a story that grossed everybody out or something and a dozen kids at a time would get up and walk out.

Honestly, you nerds are blowing it out of proportion. Everybody who knows me from here knows I'm never serious about anything I post. I actually did have a fun time at this show hanging out with kids I hadn't seen in a while. But the fact is that this show could have run A LOT smoother than it did, and lame assholes like me who have to wake the hell up in the morning could have enjoyed it as much as the rest of you did.

Don't talk to me about being Mr. Professional Band Guy. If you're in a band you should be prepared for criticism. And there's a lot worse things that could be said besides "your singer talks too much". What a crybaby. I'm sure we've both been called a lot worse by disgruntled show-goers for a lot less. Then again what the hell do I know. I don't even own any King Diamond on vinyl or whatever you kids think is cool.

Grow up, suck it up, learn how to accept criticism.

Have a good weekend everybody!
