just like id boycott the governemnt if i could because they care more for money than people, i boycott the meat and dairy industry for the same reason. the people in these industries would and do (in small degrees) poison your food when it makes them money. lobbiests endorsed by these corporations help decide the federally regulated health laws. conditions in factory farms kill migrant workers, and they dont have to report it, because the workers are illegal aliens. bottom line is, you dont know where the meat comes from, and factory farms do castrate baby pigs without anesthisia, im not making this shit up, i copy and pasted text from a website that documents whats going on in factory farms. ive seen video footage of the same thing happening to multiple piglets, and this shit happens constantly, in diffferent forms, to every type of animal. i made the same "you have to kill something to live" arguments and justifications to myself for a long time, but being a visual person, after i saw video after video of the most horriffice brutalization of animals, i just couldnt eat meat anymore. killing is one thing, a liftime of torture is another.
