anti-semetic sentiment has run too deep throughout history for any "civilized" and sympathtic nation to really question any decidedly Jewish state. I too hold such people in high regard and with deep sympathies, even though their history has had its share of turmoil, deceit, conspiracy, and murder. I am wholeheartedly on the side of those that say fuck both sides, because frankly I am sick and tired of people wasting their lives along with the lives of others doing absolutely nothing constructive; in fact the opposite, completely destructive. People, life and death are our reality, and their dogmatic arrogance for the supercedes it.

Muslim factions will never be fully understood by the US just as we were so taken aback by Kamikaze pilots in WWII because we see struggle with structure and goals, not the terrorist view which has a single goal of fear. Also, for our religious leading lights, the absence of direct Islamic studies in school raises children ignorant to such a devout faith (especially because of a Christian dominated nation and the Koran states the Jesus was a mortal prophet who didn't die on the cross and was smuggled to finish his days elsewhere.)

I mean, the sheer history of outside influence is was fuels a conflict we might never understand. And for those of you that discount biblical history, let it be known Ariel Sharon referenced the biblical Battle of Jericho during conflicts in the 50's. A secular state in the Middle East would be beautiful, but for now, lets bring our boys home and let the wolves heckle over the tiny pieces of meat left in the desert. We could pour our money into alternative energy research and maybe save some lives and our struggling economy. I love this fucking country, and I want it to be a great place for my kids to grow up in; not cause them any reason to doubt or defame it.

sorry to be so long winded, but I've been catching up on so much history lately and the lessons that should have been learned have not. Also, REV brought up a link to Masada, its very interesting, as 970 ascetics took their own lives rather than deal with Roman-influenced Jewish rule. Its inbred history boys and girls, learned pride over thosands of years.
