That's really fucked up...anyone remember in the 80's when a company knowingly sold bags of HIV infected blood to hospitals? An Irish blood bank did it too in the early 80's... more than 200 Irish haemophiliacs were infected with HIV and Hepatitis C, including young children.
Bayer did it and they're still in business! They continued to sell HIV contaminated blood plasma in Asia for over a year when it had already introduced a safer, heated blood plasma version in the US and Europe in February 1984. And the FDA helped to cover it up! Currently Bayer, (part of this industry which has been awarded generous financial subsidies from your pockets in the form of tax dollars) is applying pressure on the Environmental Protection Agency in an effort to lower the standards for pesticide contamination. They've conducted unethical human pesticide experiments and want the EPA to accept the data from those trials. The nature and purpose of such wholly nontherapeutic experiments violate The Nuremberg Code which was adopted in 1947 to protect human beings from potentially lethal, non-medical experiments.
I love how if you work for a large company and you murder hundreds of people, nothing happens to you, and your company stays in business and continues to be funded by taxes. The system really works.
