metalcore blows... nu-metal blows for the most part. its not the success that turns us off... its the fact that the bands really suck a lot. a good example of a band that was the purveyor of musical evolution: Death. they were awesome and are still awesome over 10 years later. Into Eternity? amazing evolution of metal and "accessible" song writing and vocals. bands like Chaimara, Hatebreed, Atreyu, Thursday, Poison the Well, Unearth, Killswitch Engage, and what not are bad examples of this. all cookie cutter bullshit. Blood Has Been Shed is another good band that is like one genre but isnt really able to be labeled and that sounds like no one else. too many bands sound like all the others but somehow get further ahead success wise. just because they are more successful doesnt mean they are good. we support good music, not the latest trend of braindead chuggity chug music. Earth Crisis = good... Hatebreed = wicked gay rip off
