Been a long time since we had a fairly well-known touring metal band that was down to do a D.I.Y. style gig. Nachtmystium have a good handful of releases out now, and the label run by Blake(Battle Kommand) has distribution/collaboration with both Southern Lord and HydraHead. I'd have to say that if you haven't seen them, it's time to get out of the house and check it out. All reports from their tour with Sunn 0))) last year, and various gigs this year, the live sets are killer. Not really sure what else to say. If you're into checking out the Black Metal thing, and bands like Xasthur, Twilight, Leviathan, Watain, etc. are things you dig, this will be another to add to that list. ...And as for Zoroaster from Atlanta, we've been spinning the cd at the shop for the last two weeks over and over. It's good. I can only guess they're going to be loud and heavy as fuck.
