I'd love to stick it to the Colts but the bears didn't deserve it. I don't know who the defensive coordinator for the Bears is, or what fucking game he was watching but that was fucking terrible. What a miserable way to end a season. Everybody and their mother knew Manning was gonna try short passes, and dump offs. It's the smartest possible thing you can do in rainy windy conditions like that if you're Peyton Manning or not. The fact that the Bears kept dropping back their coverage, and out-and-out refused to make an adjustment makes me wonder how the hell they ever got to the superbowl. Seriously, this is why people hate watching the superbowl so much. Every other year some team works all the way to the superbowl only to throw out all the intelligence, and startegy that got them there. They insist on sticking to some dumbass gameplan that has no chance of ever working, and they get blown out. Urlacher was noticably pissed at the play calling by the 3rd quarter and I don't blame him. Shit play calling took him right out of the game.

I have never play organized football in my life and I can say without hesitation that I'm a better quarterback than Rex Grossman. I don't think I saw that guy throw one fundamentally sound pass all night. If you throw a diaper shot floater into heavy double coverage once and it gets intercepted... what the hell do you think is gonna happen when you do it again? Run the ball, exploit the weak run defense, run short quick passing routes, wear the defense down and slowly move the ball down the field. That's how you play in the rain. That's how you play against a weak defense like the Colts. I get that. Everyone here gets that. Everyone watching the game got that. Why didn't anyone on the Bear's sideline get that?

The Colts were not the best team in the NFL. But they were the better team in the superbowl. My hats off to them.

i completely agree... the bears were playing what they had practiced.. they didn't change any game plans when it obvioulsy needed to be changed .instead of having grossman chuck it 20 yards and hope someone on the bears was gonna catch it.. they should have just kpet running it.. punch it in. the colts defense would have weakend eventually . they should taken Grossman out.. and put in Greise ( i dont know how to spell that) and i bet they would have won...
it looked like he was throwing the ball right to the colts! like " here you want it? ok "
i'm a bitter patriots fan as well... but i'd have to agree that.. the better team won..
