Heres a thought,
The first african slaves were traded between tribes much like cattle.
When the spanish arrmadas began to arrive seeking new trade routes they stumbled upon Africa.
When first solicited to purchase slaves the idea was shunned and called un economical. The loss of life aboard the ships made the cost to exceeding. It was only after the hands on designs that the africans helped the spanish with that allowed humans to be packed as cord wood and therefore made the trip more financially viable.
Now lets pick it up from there................
When upon arriving in the new worlds, the african slave trade was originaly limited to the Brittians.

Only years after the settling of the new colonys in the americas was slavery brought to effect. That was roughly the 1730's.
So now we have slavery established by the Africans, Brittish, and Spanish.
Whats that you say, no americans yet?
Thats right!
So lets see thats almost 100 years of self induced african slavery even before the americas were permanantly settled.

But it's americas fault.

Lets talk of the Irish, in 1690 the first flood of Irish immigrants arrived in the new world and in Canada and Australia.
When arriving in the new world and the Brittians they had to sell themselfs into slavery due to the " low status in the eyes of the world"
Persecuted right into the 50's the irish are right alongside the africans.
Seeing signs reading " No Irish need apply " was common into the 40's.
But yet, even if our familys did not arrive in the country till the 60's we are responsible for hundreds of years of slavery and oppression.

You can blame anyone you want for anything you want, but the bottom line is blame is a misguided way of hiding from your own responsibility.
To be treated special and differently means you dont want to be equal.
Gay rights , womens rights, equal employment opportunity, black awareness, white power, .....Its all bullshit ways of saying......
I am special and need to be treated like a bitch.
We live , we die we do dumb shit in between.
We all end up dead and facing the same fate.

If we hold onto the past we are doomed to repeat our mistakes.
But if we forgive and move on,
well.....black, white, brown, gay, strait, whatever, we can all focus our anger and attention on someone that deserves it.
