I use Reason 3.0 to do drums and all sorts of electronics. It easily ReWires with Cubase and almost all other recording software out there. You may be looking for something like Battery or DrumKitFromHell...I honestly couldn't tell you how to use either. I have both but never figured out how to use them within Cubase.
