That's tough about the dog killing shit -- is he ever hard-mouthed with birds? Right now I am working on baseball drill to teach casting and lining drills. Their hunt test coming up won't involve any blind retrieves, so I don't need to worry about that, but that baseball drill sucks for everyone involved -- the dogs often just don't want to pay attention. I am finally getting somewhere with it after 2 to 3 weeks of beating my head against a wall -- I have made it a point to keep them separated and in their kennels more often, so the most fun they will have is training.
