this is going to be sick. if anyone has the digitally remastered version of nightmare on elm st (i think 8-dvd box set), you know how brand new this stuff can look. this trumps claims by lucas that the movies will not be released until 2007 when DVD technology would hit 64GB per DVD. the claim was that this was the only way to fit all that he wanted on each disc.
This was also to be ALL movies... but I guess he can't turn out shitty scripts fast enough. Hey lucas, jar-jar bink? you should have had something very bad happen to you for that one.

"The trilogy, featuring the classic franchise films "Star Wars," "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi," will be released on three DVD discs, with a fourth disc likely to hold a newly made documentary about the "Star Wars" franchise and never-before-seen footage, among several other bonus materials, said Jim Ward, Lucasfilm's VP of marketing and distribution and the DVD trilogy's executive producer.
