It transcodes almost any file format to something readable on a PS3 and it does a hell of a job. It's not hard to setup but make sure you read up on it first, and it performs better if you do it over a wired connection. yeah, the only thing that the PS3 doesn't play are mkv's. I love the PS3 and spent all day yesterday watching doctor who on it.
