I think it's really really really funny, that the garantee for all the headlining bands COMBINED wasn't nearly as much as immolation's guarantee. And these bands are probably about twenty times bigger than Immolation. Don't get me wrong, i have a special place in my heart for their inverted chord riffing, but seriously the drum production is ALWAYS fucking terrible and just because you're an older death metal band and have been around for a while, doesn't mean you'll actually draw a crowd!

F-U IMMOLATION AND YOUR RIDICULOUS GUARANTEE

Premonitions of War went out 4-5 years ago with Misery Signals, Internal Bleeding and Six Feet Under. SFU headlined and we were main support. I think SFU was pulling in like a $1000-$1500 guarantee a night. We were getting like $150-$200 for the main support slot. Just about every single night after we played, I would say 80-85% of the crowd was gone. SFU played to an average of like 20 kids a night for their whopping headliner guarantee. Barnes would get led onstage by his "security guard" after making the remaining crowd wait for sometimes close to an hour before starting their set.

AHAHAHA I knew it. Bands need to be fuckin' realistic with their guarantee's. SFU and Immolation...i'm looking at you.

STI FTW
