Mesa?
It's all a matter of personal preference. See, I think Mesa's have a loose sound. Not the response I was chasing. A guy I was playing with a while back has one and I always tried turning his knobs when he wasn't looking. Hoped I'd get a better sound out of it. Never happened. Finally I asked him If I could plug my guitfiddle in to see if it was a it matter of pick-ups ....Nope. Asked if the tubes had been changed and they had within a recent time span. So they shouldn't have sounded so flat. Maybe was just the 6l6 power tubes. They just tend to sound sloppy to some.
