Paul, by the way it's so true of you to have coined the term "slam", and I guess Suffocation must have listened to a lot of Madball with all the slams they had. Too bad there's a difference between breakdowns and slams. Only hxc band to really pull off slam is Shattered Realm and it seems to me they either listened to a lot of NY styled DM or they stumbled upon it by an act of god. Slam doesn't = tough guy hxc.
