It's a Herter's Perfection Mag from 1977, 60" length, rated 42 lbs @ 28 inches. So, in theory, at least legal to hunt with (assuming that spec still holds true). There does seem to be a small but dedicated segment of the sport dedicated to hunting with (old) recurves, from the research I did earlier. (I'm sorta trying to prove to myself I can actually get something with an old-school bow - silly maybe, but there it is.) Well, if I don't blow it out in target practice, I guess it'll be alright.
