what a weird show.. the best part was the little kids outside that were "hollerin'" at the ladies in short skirts. picture a pack of black kids, age 7-10 doing that with one token fat white kid. I'll always remember that show as the one that I saw a little black kid refer to the token white kid as "this nigga here" and then made him to the "sandwich run" and "crab" dances. then one of them claimed to be rick james, bitch.

shroud of turin: they were pretty good. I liked the first song. and then they played a couple song that didn't sound as good. then I liked one of the middle and final songs. I've heard they've gotten much better and that they change their band name all the time.

newandyke: I didn't recognize them at first until I saw the drummer and realized who they were. It's been a long time since I've seen them. I guess they have a bunch of new songs which I really coulding junk.. but they plaed at least one song I remember from the mp3s so that was good.

auletta: I guess they are breaking up. last show on saturday which I will be at. They had the same sampler as newandyke playing the same sample loops over and over. I think their music sounded a bit like newandyke too. Also, wasn't Eric-so-far in this band before?

jcc productions: the guys from the place where the show was held was JCC productions! you see, they are all like blowin' up in the spot. channel 13th. see all a ya be on TV and if you want promotion, talk to them. Anyhow, they got the arsnata to play bass and drums while they brought out some rappers. It was obvious that the arsonata guys didn't know what was going on nor did they feel comfortable or give into the madness and play along with them. It was hilarious none the less. "if you like to get high, says 'eye!'". I wish I'd had a 17-55dx lens for that stuff.. sigh.. out well...

arsonata: ex-fell from stars who I only go to see once and only vaguely remember. Anyhow, the new band sounded really good. they do a lot of interesting things on the guitars that sounds very original. the drummer was a little kid and his set was huge, but he sounded really tight.

invocation of nehek: so the JCC guy comes out to say something on the mic. after how us his abs-of-steel and telling us it's cause he works out to "our music", the crowd get's him to start rapping. tom and tim follow them up trying to get the beat down with how they were rapping. having already seen this with the arsonata, they gave in and (with a few well place jugjugs from steve and rob even though they looked a little flustered) it actually sounded "offical".
Anyhow, ION took off after that little break. They played a bunch of songs that I knew and one that I didn't. it was a new song. their set seemed rather short.

what weapons bring war: sounded really good. I'm looking forward to getting these guys into the studio at some point. oh crap... I didn't get a cd from them for my show. it ended with a real bang. as you can sort-of see from the picture... bass+flying through the air+randomkidshead=stitches. I tried to get a picture of the kid, but people crowded around him and I couldn't get in there. When he was outside, he was too busy bleeding to listen to me asking him to take a picture.

move towards murder: no clue who these kids where, but they sounded pretty good.

fight night: mising most of their members, they were tossed on this show, played a couple songs and then I went home.
