i agree that governments need to operate with secrecy in matters of diplomacy and with legitimate enemy intel. except the US (and many other first and third-world nations) operate way outside it's bounds in that regard.

freedom of speech is a human right, not granted by any constitution. this is a universal truth.


I wasn't implying that WikiLeaks publishes information about intellectual property. I was using that as an example as intellectual property is a businesses most valuable and sensitive information.

As said in my previous post, I'd be very much inclined to agree that the US operates outside the boundaries of what should be secret and what should be public if I read something implying so.

I believe very strongly in free speech. I also believe in the concept that freedom of speech is not the right to yell fire in a crowded theater.
