It just seems that more modernized deathmetal / whatever bands put twiddles and tweedles over real substance and real emotion in music. I listen to music for the emotions it conveys, not the skill of the person playing the instrument. Ive said it 200 times before, but there are huge differences between COMPOSERS and MUSICIANS. It's very hard to find someone who is both.
