If this is indeed true, this is a huge turning point in the war effort and will have global repercussions. Middle East turmoil either might escalate or subside. We shall see.

Since he's just one man who isn't even involved in Taliban field operations anymore, nope. And what sort of turmoil? Islam extremists or young democracy advocates?

This won't change anything. Osama has been on the scene a long time, since his daddy's Saudi construction company became the largest private construction company in the WORLD in 1966, which led him to fund Afghan mujahedin fighting the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 80's, WITH USA'S HELP, because anybody fighting the Soviets must be good, right?

You only know about him because MSM needed a scapegoat for 9/11 and the 2001 Afghan invasion, which the Soviets already tried in the early 80's with the same imperialist goal and failed miserably.

American arrogance is at an all-time high. There has been "turmoil" in the Middle East for 5,000 years, before Islam and before imperialism. Afghanistan and Pakistan have NEVER been conquered or influenced by any outside power.
