[QUOTE="the_reverend:94695"]eighth empire: damn this was nothing like I expected it to be. the guitar player on the left had issues with his bottom cab. I actually think the power on that side. Another issue they had is you couldn't hear the talk singing that the singer was doing. this is probably a good thing... knowing me, I wouldn't have liked it. over all, the band was nice and heavy. it sounded realy good. there was a lot of change ups in the drum timing. dead like death: I heard this was their 3rd show. they had an aweful lot of people there for them if that is the case. their sound was different. it sort of reminded me a little of disengaged, but with less "fun-punk" and more metal. attacking frequencies: I think this is probably the most apply named band ever. some of the frequencies they unleashed while setting up their equipment attacked my ears. the guitar played did all these crazy things with his guitar that I can't even figure out how they made the sounds they did (all I could think was behold the arctopus things). at certains points, there was definitly 2 guitars playing... took me until the last time to figure out it was the bass-player playing all the way down at the bottom of his highest strings. I realized a bunch of times that their song structure bordered on sounding like strapping young lad (minus the keys), but they they would break into something really disjointed and all semblance to syl would go away. random acts of violence: such a fun band with roudy fans. Everyone there rocked out to them and there was actually people dancing, including girls pushing people around. they played a bunch of tracks off their cd and a cover of man-o-war that was awesome as usual.
