good people good times...

marybeth: better and better. I think that people are starting to get into thier music since I heard people anticipating songs with certain breakdowns. I think my fav. was the second to last song. I like how they come off the bridge. I couldn't really hear both guitars at once.

drain this blood: they were a surpirse addition to the show. sort of a verses sounding band. I guess they were suppose to play a show somewhere near FC, but the place was a christian place and they weren't so they couldn't play. good for us though. they were fun. they jumped alot, but I was using the wrong lens and only got feet... damn it!

herbert west: I had totally forgotten what they sounded like, but there was a whole lot of guitar-masterbation riffs. I had a smile on my face for most of their set cause people kept yelling "oh shit!". I think that it was especialy hilarious on the last song where they kept stopping and then people would clap and they'd say "shut up it's not over". whe nit actually was over, I think people were afraid to clap.

a perfect murder: when succubus said they had accents, I didn't really hear it, but their time... man did they sound like little canucks. it's funny cause then they bust in to a song and scream with no accent what-so-ever. they played an awesome set which included a black sabbath cover, the song paranoid. I guess they have a cd of covers.

misery signals: can you say stole the show? wait, let me rephrase that... they grab the show, put it in their pockets and punched out anyone that tried to get it back. having seen them from one of their first shows on, they own now. I'll admit, I've been heavy into the new cd, but damn, they were so powerful and tight. every single note from the cd was spot on. jayundergroundscene said it best that seeing them alone made the trip worth it.

a life once lost: finally! I see them and people dance for the new songs. I know they are all mosh-suggah, but it seems like people just don't want to dance to the new stuff. they played sort of a shot set, but it was great. the singer is so hard to pin down for pictures.
