first of all, I think I am far older than you as far as listening to metal/hard rock to know what's fucking what. Bands mature, music evolves, what is good for you as an artist today changes and evolves into what is good for you as an artist 10 to 20 years from now. You want to make the music that is true to you, and reflective of what you have been exposed to.
