Question is, is the bad stuff worth it for getting the defense cuts? Personally, I say yes, because enough military spending means there's no money for anything else; no one would even be talking about having to cut programs for the poor if we hadn't blown over $4T on wars in ten years. Getting rid of overzealous TSA policies on top of it is just a bonus.
