I sorta get it, because as a show watcher, you see Brienne as pretty insignificant but she's definitely not in the books. It was a decent fight scene, though a little long in my opinion. In the books, the Hound dies very slowly after the fight in the Tavern where Arya killed Polliver. Good question about Stannis's trip to Braavos. The way I remember it in the books, he didn't actually go to Braavos. A banker from the Iron Bank meets up with them at Castle Black after defeating the wildlings. I think the show has always done a pretty lackluster job in showing how totally fuckin' badass Stannis is.
