ughhhh, some of the stuff on that show is kinda cool but i cant stand the fat sacks of ugly greed that run the place posing with their sunglasses and motorcyles, you run a pawn shop, you're not badass. plus the whole show suffers from a lack of clearly drug addicted people selling shit they obviously stole.

Best show on History Channel other than Ax Men. Old Man & Rick are the shit, Big Hoss & Chum Lee are a couple of idiots. Peaches deserves an honorable mention.

Chum lee is priceless...fucking idiot. I enjoy this regularly scheduled program.

I will say it was fucking hilarious when they bought the 17th century wine maker and Chum Lee made wine with a couple handfuls of grapes he crushed with his nasty bare feet, yeast and a couple boxes of Franzia, fermenting in the Nevada heat for 2 months.

This is my problem with this history channel. Too many shows like this. They aint history. I dont mind these kind of reality shows but please MOVE THEM TO ANOTHER CHANNEL. I WANT TO WATCH STUFF ON ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS PLEASE.
Good thing history international exists. But this is utterly disappointing that the best channel on tv gave in to gatbage reality shows.

actually i've learned some interesting historical facts from this show. like last night they were talking about these George Washington coat buttons and they brought up the fact that he was technically not the first American President but the first Constitutional President. there 14 other before the constitution was ratified.


i will agree though that History International has far better/educational programming. usually watch that late at night before passing out.

Just watched the show. Not bad. It's like a reality 'antique roadshow' spinoff. History lessons within were cool. Characters suck. Bald guy is a douchebag, chubby dude is a moronic limpdick dumbass, old guy is okay but still a douche. needs more women.

I enjoy this show a lot. What a lot of people don't seem to understand is that businesses need to make quite the profit in order to stay in business. At least 30%. So when they bring that price down it's because they can't buy it for what it's worth because then they ain't gonna make shit on it, and eventually they'd lose all of their profit and go out of business.

i do agree with Aril though. This show doesn't exactly belong on the history channel. moar ancient civilization and civil war coverage plzkthx.

Oh yeah and this show definitely deserves a spot on the History channel. Thats what's so cool about these guys, they're only interested in buying stuff with some history behind it. They don't give a shit about some stupid boombox that fell off a truck. But if you can prove that Ghengis Khan listened to Manowar on it...you got a deal buddy.

Now those damn logging shows and that fucking god awful fake nascar one. They aren't remotely fucking historic at all. The modern marvels episode about logging is fine and all. But watching grown men bicker at each other in the woods, bullshit. Oh and don't build up the suspense that someones about to get hurt after the commercial break just to find out that they "narrowly avoided having their head chopped off by a cable but the only footage of it we got is this suspiciously artificial shaky shot of a guy running down a hill"

I also hate that fact that Ice Road Truckers is on this show. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but it's not historic at all. Would be much better off on the travel channel or discovery.

Is Hardcore Pawn any good? I saw a commercial for it and immediately hated it since it was clearly a blatent ripoff of Pawn Stars with an even shittier name.
