So why read it or even bother commenting?

Can't stand that dude. Hope he gets his ass handed to him in his first ufc fight.

I was just kinda hoping he'd stay in the 180 and finish off Anderson Silva's reign. After that fight with Damien Maia I lost all respect for the dude.

shields problem is that he'd take silva down but hes not good at finishing people so theres a fair chance that during one of those standups anderson silva would knock him out

He was better off staying with strikeforce. The UFC welterweights will kill him.

umm this bum would have no chance against Silva, what you smokin??

Silva is so much better than every other middleweight, its laughable

unless he moves up in weight class, or down to the welterweight to face St. Pierre, I don't see him losing

give him a chance. He hasn't lost in 6 years. He has alot to prove. He showed a lot of adversity vs. henderson when his own promotion didn't even give him a shot.

I didn't say he was going to beat Silva, I just think it would be nice. I agree though that he would probably get knocked out before he could even take it to the ground.

silva is worlds above standing... however his TDD is pretty poor.. very good jiu jitsu but not world class
