That sound I hear better be Belichick tripping over himself to get to the phone. The only way to keep Sanders healthy is to work him into a rotational secondary. Merriweather, Chung, and Bob Sanders with any combination of James Sanders, Brandon McGowan, and Sergio Brown would be the best rotational secondary in the league.

Then again he's got just enough name recognition for Mike Tennenbaum to have actually heard of him. Don't be surprised if the Jets go after him.

If there's anything the Patriots need it's defense. I'm not even getting my hopes up because a lockout is probable.

The lockout will eat up a good chunk of the offseason and fuck everybody up. But the season will still happen.

This just in, The Indianapolis Star's Mike Chappell reports that Bob Sanders tore his MCL as he casually strolled down a wheelchair ramp outside the area hospital that treated his broken clavicle

Anderson Cooper is reporting live from outside Bob Sanders' condo where it appears a large mob of disaffected Jordanians have taken to the streets and are protesting the former Colts safety's inability to stay on the field. Several fires have broken out and Sanders appears to be suffering from smoke inhalation.

INDIANAPOLIS-An area high school is under lockdown after Bob Sanders' left patella exploded into a million pieces of razor sharp shrapnel. Ripping through the brick wall of the school's gymnasium pieces of the former All-Pro safety's kneecap were found embedded in the far wall of the gym, one shard was even found embedded in a cafeteria window across the courtyard from the gym. Students reported a sound that "was like a bomb going off" according to Sophomore Merton Hanks and school staff quickly locked down the building and called police.

Upon the realization that the explosion wasn't the harbinger of a school massacre but simply yet another catastrophic Bob Sanders injury police weren't terrible surprised. "It's just a fact of life here in the Circle City," said Metro Police Chief Paul Ciesielski, "some cities have blizzards, others get hurricanes. Here, we always know we're only the slightest bump away from one of Mr. Glass' limbs exploding in a horrific manner"

As of press time Samuel L. Jackson, who portrayed Mr. Glass in the cinematic masterpiece "Unbreakable," was working out for Bill Polian.

Unrelated note: Steelers franchised LaMarr Woodley

Am I the only one that thinks a straight up Mankins for Woodley would make all the sense in the world when the CBA gets done?
