The church of satan has nothing to do with the devil. They take the word satan from the greek I believe, meaning "opponent". Satanism in fact involves the worship of the individual as their own deity. Not that I have a little red membership card or anything, but check out www.churchofsatan.com for more info. Check out the satanic precepts, and the satanic sins. I think a lot of people on this board who might have the wrong idea about satanism might find themselves into it - or vice versa, a lot of people who think they'd be into it might be turned off.
