my friends and i rented it and the dvd broke half way through it was by far the best part of the movie

I have to say that House of 1000 Corpses was a big let down. But the worst movie is definately Jerimiah Johnson.

I hated donnie darko it was the stupidest attempt at a psychological film directed towards the youth. However thats just my opinon. Best movie ever = Blue velvet

Donnie Darko is really overrated, but the worst movie I've seen lately was The Ring.

can't tell you how much i agree with you... i wanted to see the jackass movie but it wasnt at the theatre i went to so my friends and i had to settle for the ring, and after we fell asleep twice during the movie, we left about three quarters of the way through. i hope the creator of this movie drowns in a pool of his own shit and likes it... he owes me a good hour of my life back and $7.50... both of those i am short on... time and cash. death to the ring.

but man, the ring sucked so bad

the Ring is the movie i mentioned when i first posted that "scary movie" above..i just gorgot the name....it's NOT a toss up imho...Ring sucked i cannot believe people were scared of it.

I don't think the ring was as bad as people are saying here, but people were saying it was "the scariest movie of all time" so I saw it and it was really dissapointing. However, I am gonna have to change my answer from Jerimiah Johnson to Pokemon. When I was young/stupid/naive (I only listened to Metallica, just to give you an idea of how young/stupid/naive I was) I saw this movie, and after it was over I was almost in tears because of how bad is was. Seriously, put yourself into a little annoying stupid kid for a second and picture tons of "cool" creatures lined up about to fight eachother and then some pops up and basically says "Let's all be friends" and that is the end. What a fuckin piece of shit movie. Come to think of it, I cant even consider that a movie. Jerimiah Johnson it is!

check out "Ringu" if you like the ring, basicaly its the same movie, but its the original... the one that Hollywood ripped of from the japan to make the big budget film "The Ring" (also a sweet movie) but this one is:

a.) lower budget, which in my opinion equates to a scarier overall experience

b.) shorter, The Ring doesnt need to be as long as it is, and this movie proves it.

c.) yes its subtitled, i dont mind at all, in fact i think it adds a little something...

i find it somewhat difficult to get into a movie if i have to constantly read while something else on the screen is happening.

id rather it have no subtitles and to just guess what they are talking about.

Believe it or not, Ringu is actually a Japanese remake of the original "Ring" movie, which was also made in Japan.

I liked Donnie Darko alot. I just wish they had included the original Tears for Fears on the soundtrack instead of that dumb cover.

I think the worst movie I've ever seen involved Captain America and a man with a deformed face. Either that or Blood Sucking Freaks.

yeah that Captian America movie was pretty bad. I remember seeing it years ago, Ive seen so many dumb movies its hard to just single out the worst, so I have a list:

Bram Stoker's Dracula does NOT suck. Yeah, it could have been better but, visually, the movie was awesome.
