Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement, now runs Palestine. I hope they understand now as state actors their suicide bombers are now state actions by legitimate state representatives. They can now officially be categorized as acts of war. I think they're in deep shit, Israel doesn't fuck around.

I thought the same thing this morning. now that they control the non-state, they arent terrorists, but soldiers.

State reps with bombs strapped to their chests.....wow.

Yea, they got tired of being the rock throwers and put on bomb belts. Hamas is actually a social outreach organization. Our Western newsframe only shows the homicidal-religious extremist wing of their group. However, no matter how many poor people they feed, I just can't agree with the little kids wearing mock suicide belts. I had a class on terrorism last semester and we fought about 'What is terrorism?' everyday. Agree or disagree with Hamas ( who on paper is no different that Arafats Fatah ) it all boils down to this:
"One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter"

yep, hamas has done a lot more for social programs than fatah.

I don't like this at all.

The insurgency in Iraq, the situation with Iran and Syria, now this? Oh yea, I forgot about North Korea. War is on the horizon. Total endless war.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jan 27,2006 8:56am
it's so grim, it rules.
TOTALFUCKINGWAR

It's a fairly accurate prediction. If we jump into another conflict there WILL be a draft. Our troops are already stretched way too thin.
