HTP is really good but I think I perfer RTTP because the reverand goes to alot of goddamn shows and helps to really get band's names out there; that's dedication.

I like the flash presentation. I wonder if I've shot shows with him.

I like the Rev's photography better, because for the most part it's very organic/natural feeling.

I think RTTP wins because 'Return To The Pit' sounds a fuckload lot cooler than 'Haunted Toys Photography'. Holy queer.

Probably because someone from that site came on here for some free publicity.

an important thing to remember:

aaron posts all his photos and doesn't do any work on them...

someone who posts 1 photo from a show is going to go through and pick their best 1...it's easy to get 1 good shot a show compared to getting 100's of great shots a night.

a portfolio site with 1 or 2 photos from a show..compared to hundreds of thousands...

there is no comparison becuse the sites are different and how can you compare the legend that is rttp to anything else?

Way to try and get hits from rttp though. I guess "bane of" realizes how important this site is.

Also, all the photos I saw on that site were with a flash where it's relatively easy to make purdy colors appear.

no flash is where it's at.

the flash format is pretty cool, but I can only assume for people who are not fortunate enough to be running cable or dsl, you probably cant access that site. It pretty much goes w/out saying that RETURN TO THE PIT is astronomically cooler than Haunted Toys Photography, and the Rev busts his ass going to rediculous amounts of shows where in which many, if not most, are all nothing but local bands. That pays out BIG TIME to those local bands and it says alot about the Rev and the fact that he obviously has alot a passion for and dedication to what he does. And No, I'm not trying to suck any dicks here, but I don't think you could even compare a site that seems like its only being used as a portfolio to RTTP that not gives bands and fans picture resources, but it also has a multitude of other services, and that is the MECCA, for lack of a better word, for new england metal/hc/underground/etc...

the guy's name is tim geiss...he's done pictures at one of our rox's shows and at the lucky dog once. he definitely takes good pictures, but if you're gonna compare websites RTTP has every metal website ever beat

HTP is cool, I just think it's funny seeing bands that pratice in our building up there, half of them are looking right into the camera, goofy guys!
