they wear flame resistant suits that are pretty thick. as long as he didn't gasp, he should be fine.
also, where the hell are the gas tanks, under the engine?
someone messed up not telling that guy quicker. those drivers all have headsets and should have known about that accident and to slow down/pack in immediately.
