I think the new Iron Maiden is boring. The Fugitive, The Clairvoyant, The Trooper, The Prisoner, The Clansman, The Wickerman, The Nomad... what's next, The Crock Hunter? Stop with the names allready, because it's old. My 2 cents

Silly assessment. It's not the song title that matters, its the substance of the song. That said, I hope the latest is better than Dance of Death. I have yet to hear it

i liked dance of death, but it got kind of boring toward the end. i've only heard the reincarnation of benjamin breeg and i thought it was a pretty good song. i've heard that the new songs are mostly long, slow, and epic, so i can imagine the album might get boring wihout some classic maiden gallop.

iron maiden like to tell stories within their songs so...

I didn't mind Dance of Death but its no where near the greatness of their past work

The early to mid 80's are definately the best albums

The new Iron Maiden album is actually pretty good, and I like it a lot better than Dance of Death.

It's not an instant album though, it requires a few listens before you get into it. Also the lyrics and vocal hook for the first song are very weak, very VH1.

Nothing will ever be like their 80s run because metal was simply a lot fresher then, that is when they developed into a phenomenon and that is where the majority of their fans derive nostalgia.

I've only listened to it once, but it didn't do it for me...I hope it's better the second time.

I did just score a pair of tickets though!
