hate eternal dvd comes out tommorow and it doesnt look like newbury comics is gonna have it does anyone know any places in the south shore where i could pick it up?

I heard that DVD's gonna be last release for Hate Eternal since Erick Rutan is joining Morbid Angel full time, I love Hate Eternal but Rutan is better off with Morbid Angel

i dont think erik is leaving hate eternal for morbid angel he said that he was only doing the summer tour so they could have the domination lineup back together.

when did rutan join MA anyway? Domination? the only two that count in my book are Blessed and Covenant anyway, so yeah... although they do have some good songs on their later albums, i dont think the world would die without another MA album.

oh... i love Altars too... i just think they got it "right" with Blessed and Covenant. Domination and Formulas are cool too, Gateways was decent and Heretic was decent as well... just wasnt as good as B and c.

I pretty much agree with you completely, except I think Gateways was way more than decent. It's impossible to really compare it to the first 3 albums because they are just so different, but it is its own thing and it is a monster of an album. It sounds like the Ancient Ones returning to Earth and fucking everyone up haha

although to be completely fair to gateways and domination... i havent heard them in like 3 years so... i guess ill go DL them now and give them a listen again
