Did anyone ever get into this little project? I believe it's the best thing Dave Grohl ever ever did. I wish he would do another album with it though.

no way, him playing drums for Killing Joke was the best thing he ever did. i never really could get into the probot record.

I checked out some clips from the CD at a record store, where you scan the CD and listen to samples from all the songs - I didn't care for it; all the songs sounded like something from the band of the person singing (i.e. the Lemmy song sounded like a bad Motorhead song, the Cronos song sounded like a bad Venom song, etc....)
I would rather listen to the Foo Fighters than Probot.

I like me some Foo Fighters. I think it's great though that Dave has such a passion for Metal and he shows it by putting out a great...tribute....album I guess you could call it.

ya its cool he collaborated all those musicians, but as far as the music....a falsetto-less king diamond...two thumbs down

I hope Dave Grohl gets killed for this abortion of a project.

Probot is definitely one of the greatest things ever.

How awesome is it that Dave Grohl just called a bunch of musicians and said "I'm gonna make a metal album, and your gonna be in it."

I guess if yer a Nirvana or Foo Fighters fan its a really cool thing that Dave Grohl did such a project, If yer not a Nirvana or Foo Fighter fan like I, who gives a fuck what Dave Grohl does. And why is it so appealing to see a musician drift out of the pop-alterative genre to do a "metal?" record. That aint really metal to me.
