i will probably be there to catch a couple bands. i want to see pathogenic and astronomer.

Ill be in Ct. helping to set up some for some band that reunited after years of saying they never would. Maybe I can make a surprise magical appearance if Pathogenic plays some hits like The field of Battle and to Lynch a threnodist, while the drummers mom does some erotic dancing to it.

i heard the minor times on xm radio yesterday, they sounded pretty good.

I've only seen them once..for about 5 minutes(I caught the end of their set and I was going there to see them)

I don't think they have been in this area in roughly 1 1/2 - 2 years.

joey should hold the show up until i get there and I have to bring carina to get cut up first, bring her home, and then head down. If her neices are here by then, I might bring one of them.

If you really have nothing to do and maybe haven't heard any of the bands playing go to their myspace/purevolume/whatever mp3 page and come out to the show. It's a pretty diverse show as to keep things from being repetative.

Yeah you should be good...Shows rarely run on time/fast unless bands drop off.

I'd say you should catch the last bands...or at least rosetta and the minor times.

I missed Pathogenic unfortunantely. Sucks.. But atleast I only missed one band. I did get a few shots of them.

astronomer: excellent set. They probably needed to turn it up a little bit to not have their sound burried by all the other bands. I'm sort of hoping thatthese guys can continue on with the crowds that TTOS had. Some similar elements to the music and reminded me of Hum in some parts. maybe they will be the next hold true band.

fjord: these guys used to be winter solstice? Very hard to believe.this is not metalcore band. Even harder to believe is that a band sounding like this is signed to eulogy. More of a BMA sound. Tons of pedals. Sort of like breather resist, but not so convergey. Some of the pedal driven craziness was lost cause the guitar stage left stopped working at some point.

what happened with the rest of the bands? I guess a bunch of them were mia.

ghost of a fallen age is the other ex winter solstice band

never hoid of them. fjord was pretty awesome. the small hype about them is warranted.

these are: huh, make sense that they are on hold true (ps: I finally met ethan). They sounded a lot more like TTOS then I think the CDs do. may be.. only difference is when they all scream for the sky, it's not aboot mathmatics. they were late because of the traffic. If they had been later, they would have mssed me. I guess with all the times that I've missed them, it's their time to miss me.

rosetta: like 6 people in there watching rosetta? Maybe I don't get what the kids love these days, but man, rosetta is awesome. I think this band is the band on the bill that astronomer sounds the most like. They basically pulled in a set up, and killed. I especially like the green/blue lights. So good for pictures. Some day, there will be a show with these guys, pelican, red sparrows, isis, and mogwai. That is once they are noticed by more people for being amazing.

minor times, the: carina's niece and I was outside when they started up. It was so loud. So so so loud that I wanted to put in ear plugs while sitting outside. It's like when you are sitting outside on a quiet morning and someone clicks the ignition in big truck, instantly roaring to life. For about an instant, you think that you are about die in an earthquake, but after a few seconds, you realize that you are going to be fine. I thought no one could top the rosetta set, but these guys were just so good. They had a dude that just sat there doing lights and had TV screens showing that birdy symbol thinger.

it was nice to see pathogenic and astronomer. would have liked to see some other bands, but had shit to do. it was great seeing my old pal joe.

yea that was some brutal moshin. I guess its not funny any more for Little A to make fun of breakdowns. Theres actually some what of a breakdownish part in the new Coffin Birth song, so we cant do shit to complain either
