Hopefully I'll be able to afford the new Goreality on Saturday, especially if I'll even be able to go to the show on Saturday, haha.

Those Pathos shirts need a reprint ASAP. Maybe I'll have those done when the GOREALITY shirts go to print.

Hah, thanks man, I appreciate that. I wouldn't feel right not paying full price though, since all I've done is toss my elitist artistic opinions around, haha. Plus my paycheck this week was a little higher than I expected so I'll be able to afford many goodies.

toggletoggle post by fishcakes at Aug 31,2007 1:44pm
well, we did use your input.

The brand new stuff is...

(trust006) Funeralium - Funeralium

The debut album of the French Ultra Sick Doom Metal band Funeralium (including members of Ataraxie, Hyadningar and Mourning Dawn) contains six l-o-n-g songs for almost 80 minutes (!!!) of torture Doom Metal and a real journy into insanity...

Hysterical sick screams, deep grunts, old school doom riffs and totally necro atmospheres.

Forget everything you think you know about disturbed music and prepare yourself for a fucked up experience!

An album that gives a new meaning to the Extreme Doom genre...! For fans of early Bethlehem, Abruptum, Burning Witch, Thergothon... (comes with a "nice" 16 page booklet)

http://www.myspace.com/funeralium

(trust004) Mourning Dawn - Mourning Dawn

Mourning Dawn's debut album contains 8 tracks for almost an hour of painful and depressive Black Metal. A freezing suicidal journey filled with misery, sickness and despair, based upon the work of first world war writers and their way of life... The perfect soundtrack for your own suicide...

Recommended for fans of Silencer, Weakling, Shining, Deinonychus, Bethlehem, Forgotten Tomb, Xasthur. Limited to 1000 copies

(trust005) The Knell - Harm

After 9 hard years of existence, the long awaited debut album of the Israeli Doomsters The Knell is finally out! "Harm" has been mastered by Greg Chandler (from Esoteric) and contains 7 tracks for more than 50 minutes of heavy, obscure, thick and beefy Doom/Death Metal. This album is not a tribute for the nineties and the glory days of the genre, but a proof that Doom/Death is still kicking in the twenty first century and even more relevant than ever.

(trust007) Beneath The Frozen Soil & Negative Reaction - Split CD

This split presents a bitter and unforgiving struggle between the raw blackened Doom Metal of Swedish Doomsters Beneath The Frozen Soil, and the well-known hateful Sludge of New York's gods, Negative Reaction. There are no winners in this dirty Battle, just fifty bleeding and harsh minutes straight from the most unpleasant side of the genre. Expect for totally punishing experience! Limited to 1000 copies.

And there's other Doom stuff on the site, click the link and browse!

how is that angelcorpse album, I'm so out of the loop with them. I've only heard "Hammer of The Gods" and "Exterminate." Are they still the best tribute to good era morbid angel?

toggletoggle post by Ryan_M at Sep 21,2007 8:15pm
I was kinda disappointed in the new Angelcorpse, "Exterminate" and "The Inexorable" were fucking killer, but this new one....I didn't like the sound and the songs lacked some of the intensity of the 2 albums I mentioned.
