New site? Maybe some day.

Yes, since apparently our VT show still isn't confirmed. |
|
"The Perks
Bands that follow the rules and play nice are guaranteed half of their traveling expense, based on mileage from their last show to Lyndonville, VT after set completion at a rate of $0.30 per mile. This little extra encouragement is necessary considering the price of oil and our dependency on it (unless you plan on walking). Compensation above this guaranteed rate will be based on the crowd response, performance and attitude. Bands are encouraged to mingle with the local yokels. Band members of legal age and valid ID’s are rewarded with half-off drinks at the discretion of the bartender. Sorry kiddies!
The Setup
Phat Kats is a small venue with a complete, mobile and up-to-date sound system.... Monitors currently aren't used...cranking your momma’s vintage fender amp isn’t encouraged."

The Northeast Kingdom is a strange place. It would be cool if shows there could draw a large crowd because the area itself is pretty sparsely populated. I'm not sure what the locals would think of all the extra people, though.
I grew up in Vermont, but every time I went to the Northeast Kingdom, people would look at me like I was some yuppy tourist. Out there, being from Burlington isn't trve enough. |

imm & brian: message nate via the myspace website. he was planning on one saturday a month, as to not 'overplay' the area. who knows once college is back in session.
griz: flashy, no?
samantha: the locals could use a little extra excitment. |

a few bands booked; we'll (NSN) be on one of these at some point. |
|
many bands added; he's on a roll.
We stopped by the venue (Phat Kats) last night. First time since the renovations. They tore out a back wall, moved the bathrooms upfront (no more walking past the bands to piss, flat screen tvs, beruit table, 'dance floor'... photos soon. |
