No, I believe that would be rice-a-roni. You know, I've never eaten rice-a-roni, and believe that I probably will never. Its like the Hungry-Man frozen dinner: it beckons to me from the shelves at the store, but never had I felt the need to get it.
Wow, pointless. |
im heading out to this wonderfulness right now. |
Thanks to anyone came last night.
All the bands were awesome. I think I called A Cold Reality A cruelty divine, sorry guys, you were good though. Kevorkian's were good, Conifer fucking ruled, Dead Like Deth was fucking awesome, we sucked. My hand was cuts all over it, I sliced it open on my guitar, then my amp cut out, resulting in an amazing show. Well anyways, need to get a little more drunk. ThaNKS AGAIN. |
show was awesome! All the bands were great!
oh man, i had a blast.
A Cold Reality opened up and was really good. I like Justin on vocals and have already encouraged him to keep it that way. If they do get a singer I hope he still does backing vox. Their set created a good atmosphere for the rest of the night.
Kevorkian's Angels was on next, and it was one of the best sets I have seen from them. I really like their new songs that they played, and can't wait to hear more of it from them. Their next show is Feb 23 and they aren't playing again for about 3 months, so if you missed this show better go to the 23rd.
Conifer played third, and as usual amazed everyone. Being from Maine, they didn't draw too many people specifically from them, but they had the biggest crowd right up front for their set. They are playing a 1 hour set on March 20th, if you miss it then your life is worthless.
Dead Like Deth played after conifer, and it was their first show ever. They were a tight as hell mix of punk and metal with Murph on vocals. If you don't know who Murph is then chances are you haven't been to that many Disengaged shows.
Disengaged headlined this fiasco, playing drunk punk-metal destruction with solos. Things were broken, people were hurt and a girl was missing by the end of their set! Their last show until June is the march Bostons' Dead, so make sure to catch that as well.
If any drummers have spare parts they can sell cheap, contact Disengaged.

thanks Joe, that was a great time. all the bands were excellent, especially Conifer(of course)
my favorite part of the night was watching John(ka drummer) fall off the fence in back of Obriens |
my favorite part was when Nick Kevorkian took one of the mics during Disengaged and just started screaming into it. Then he went on stage and knew exactly what to do. |
I don't remember any of that. The only part of my set that I recall is looking down and seeing blood all over my hand. |
hm... this sounds like a horrible nightmare |
fuckin' a... joe thanks for hooking us up man... all the bands were fucking great... we couldn't have asked for a better first show in a million years (unless of course chicks were blowing us while we were playing which would have made us all sound way shittier) I'm looking forward to playing more shows with all of the bands we played with... i heart pee pee. |

Damn fun show. A Cold Reality was good (guitar needed to be louder, though). Conifer was awesome as usual. First time I've seen Kevorkian's Angels and I was impressed. Dead like Death were damn tight, particularly for a first show and Disengaged were drunk and fun as usual. Good times, great music. |
This was a killer show... I managed to telepathically release every primate from every zoo around the world.. success |
